Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. [KKR.UL] (KKR) said on Tuesday the firm has invested $282.3 million in Dutch Philips Semiconductors International B.V. Last week, Philips Electronics completed the sale of an 80.1 percent stake in its Semiconductors business to a private equity consortium made up of KKR, Silver Lake Partners, Bain Capital, Apax Partners and AlpInvest Partners NV.
